Robert de Graaff is director-owner of Ropelli Leathers. After a long career in the leather branch, he started his own company in 2010. Obviously the first years were difficult. There was a lot of competition and it proved to be difficult to secure a strong position in a shrinking market. However, efforts were made to expand and intensify contacts with tanneries on the one hand and leather processing companies on the other.

And with success, both national and international. Nowadays unique seating furniture is being made with Ropelli leather. Customers see, smell and feel that they are buying real leather; and that’s the way it should be: “You can’t fake authenticity.” With its leather, Ropelli Leathers draws customers into a totally new experience of exclusivity, nature, comfort and a little mystery.
